Thomas Green was born in New Orleans, LA but was raised in Albany, NY. Thomas possesses a passion for working with those who have faced significant challenges and hurdles in their lives but are trying to get back on track. Thomas earned a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counseling certificate from the New York State department of OASAS. Thomas has served as a Case Manager with the Altamont Community Reintegration program where he later served as the Director. He also served as a Health Educator and Case Manager with Group Ministries as well as a Mentoring Program Supervisor for the Buffalo Urban League where he provided mentoring to individuals released from the NYS Department of Corrections. Thomas currently serves as the Community Mobilization Coordinator for Community Access Services where he takes the lead on establishing collaborative services of community partners, stakeholders and faith-based organizations to create synergy for greater impact in the community.

Thomas takes pride in his work and giving back to the community. He truly believes that “no one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another”.
